John "JZ" Zachary
1979-2002

John Peter Zachary, better know to us as JZ, was a member of The Madison Project from Fall 2000 until his graduation in Spring 2002. During that time he was more than just our treasurer and tenor, he was one of the most energetic and friendly people ever to join the group. He was a talented athlete, an accomplished pilot, a wonderful singer, and an all-around fun person to be around.
It seemed that JZ was good at everything he did.

On August 18th, 2002, JZ lost his life in an airplane accident. The Madison Project will never forget JZ and the contribution he made not just to our music and our concerts, but to so many aspects of our lives. We will miss his voice, his smile, his charm, and his presence. Our concerts in 2002-2003 and the CD
"Rock Star" are dedicated to the memory of our beloved friend.
